Musical Tales, from the Beginning of Time.

A regional campaign promoting the release of Mythos, a unique collaboration between celebrated author and storyteller Stephen Fry, and renowned composer Debbie Wiseman. This project brought to life Fry’s international bestseller Mythos: The Greek Tales Retold through orchestral music, blending literature with music to capture the essence of ancient Greek mythology.

APPROACH

Leveraging the international popularity of Mythos, the campaign focused on positioning the collaboration as a landmark cultural event.

  • Highlighting the unique fusion of Stephen Fry’s engaging narration with Debbie Wiseman’s evocative compositions, presented Mythos as a modern retelling of the classic Greek myths.
  • The marketing strategy was designed to appeal to classical music enthusiasts, literature lovers, and Fry’s extensive fan base, while promoting the album’s cultural significance.
  • Digital, social, and PR activities were executed to build anticipation for the release, with a focus on highlighting the innovative cross-disciplinary nature of the project.

THE RESULT

The Mythos Suite achieved exceptional results, reaching the UK Classical Album No.1 spot on the Official Charts—marking a historic first for Audio Network. This milestone underscored the success of our integrated approach and established the project as a significant achievement within both the music and literary communities.

The campaign not only solidified Mythos as a cultural milestone but also expanded Audio Network’s reach within the classical genre, enhancing brand credibility in the broader entertainment space.

Upon release, the Mythos Suite reached the Official Charts - UK Classical Album No.1 spot. A first for Audio Network.
